Sarah and Todd finished up their trip to Israel with a private dinner with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara in their home Sunday night.
The warmth and affection between the couples was obvious. It was so good to see the Governor hitting it off with the leader of our closest ally in the Middle East. It looks like there was an instant connection and the Palin's really seemed enjoy their stay. I get a kick out of the smile on Bibi's face. Of course that's a natural reaction when meeting Sarah, as she has the ability to light up any room.
Earlier the Palin's were able to take in some sight seeing, including a trip to the Western Wall and other Holy sites.
“It’s overwhelming to be able to see and touch the cornerstone of our faith,” Palin told reporters upon exiting the tunnels. “I’m so thankful to be able to be here, and I’m thankful to know the Israel American link connection will grow and strengthen as the peace negotiations will continue.”
The Palin's trip to Israel was an important step for Governor Palin as she readies herself for the potential discision to run for the Presidency, but it was also a moving spiritual experience I'm sure.
